    Learning About Populations Where I Live by Lynn Martin, Creekside Elementary, Durham, NC. In celebration of April as Math Awareness Month, this lesson brings together mathematics and earth awareness learning, including how climate affects each of us.  This hands-on activity targets two key questions: (1) How do human activities affect climate change? and  (2) How is global climate monitored?
