As always, please drop us a note to let us know about the things you're doing to transform the classroom. staff@NortelLearniT.org Olympic Gold Learning   The Canadian Schools portal of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games has adopted Nortel LearniT's digital literacy tool kit and classroom-ready learning resources as its showcase education application for the games. The VANOC education portal serves as the foundation for what is expected to become a lively online interactive community, one that will connect teachers, students (k-12) and schools, while celebrating the spirit of the 2010 Winter Games.      Be a 21st Century e-Teacher   Build your skills to effectively integrate technology in project-centered learning.  The first course in 21st Century e-Teacher focuses on adding 'Technologi-ZING' to your lessons and introduces tools to help you do this.   This free online course, developed in partnership with Curriki and the National Institute of Aerospace, provides information, activities and virtual support to help you reach your professional development goals. Participants who successfully complete the course will be acknowledged for their effort and receive an official 21st Century e-Teacher certificate.   Everyday Tech Toolkit   Harness the creative energy of your students while they teach others! Our new Everyday Tech Toolkit has all of the resources needed for your students to create their own instructional videos. This fun project motivates students to share their techno-knowledge with others while expanding their communication, critical thinking and technical                         skills. Learn how to create a competition, build an                          Everyday Tech library and share students' work!    End Boring Slide Shows           It's easier than you think to help your students   create a high quality, high energy presentation that   captures their learning. Discover how the free   educator version of animoto can be put to work in   your classroom. It's an easy way to automatically   design a captivating presentation with pictures, text   and music.       Featured Lesson Plan     STEM + animoto = Fun Learning!  See master teacher Jim Egenreider's 6ES lesson plan on watersheds using animoto with elementary school students. This hands-on project invites students to create a multimedia final report using images and data to present their findings.
